Silay City, February 1, 2025 – As the sun set over Silay City, Silay Institute continued its momentous 100th-year celebration with a spectacular evening affair on February 1, 2025. The event brought together students, faculty, alumni, and distinguished guests to honor a century of excellence and look forward to a future of continued growth and inspiration.
A Centennial Gala Night unfolded following the ceremony with a grand welcome address from the Executive Vice President, Mr. Neri B. Marasigan. Special guests, including the Board of Directors, Nihon Fukushi University officials, Silay Institute General PTA Officials, stockholders, local government representatives, and other distinguished guests delivered heartfelt messages recognizing the school’s remarkable contributions to education and society.
A major highlight of the evening was the Grand Centennial Recognition Awards, where outstanding alumni, faculty, and community partners were honored for their exceptional achievements and unwavering commitment to the institution’s values. The awardees, representing various fields, shared inspiring words about how Silay Institute helped shape their lives and careers.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a Centennial Musical and Cultural Showcase captivated the audience students, faculty, and special performers presented a fusion of traditional and contemporary music, dance, and theatrical performances.
