On June 24, 2025, Silay Institute warmly welcomed distinguished guests from its sister school, Nihon Fukushi University (NFU) of Japan, as part of their ongoing academic and cultural exchange. The visiting delegation included Dr. Tadanao Harata, Deputy President for Academics; Dr. Shinichi Sato—Dean of the International Department; and Dr. Maro Kimizuka—Coordinator of International Exchange Program
The NFU representatives were given a comprehensive tour of Silay Institute's facilities, including administrative offices and classrooms. They observed Senior High School classes and elementary-level Nihongo sessions, providing insights into the institute's educational practices.
In a cultural showcase, the guests also witnessed vibrant performances by Silay Institute’s own artistic groups: The Silay Institute Rondalla Ensembles, The Silay Institute Chorale and dance presentations by Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) students.
The exchanges between Silay Institute and NFU continue to strengthen their shared commitment to fostering globally competent, culturally aware individuals through mutual academic and cultural enrichment.
