Silay Institute hosted its inaugural Boy Scout Investiture Ceremony and Backyard Camping event, marking a significant milestone for its scouting program. Over two days, students engaged in fun and educational activities that promoted teamwork, leadership, and a connection to nature.

The event began with the Investiture Ceremony, where new scouts were inducted, taking an oath to uphold scouting values like loyalty and courage. The ceremony was a proud moment for both students and parents, emphasizing the importance of scouting for character development and community service.

Following the ceremony, students enjoyed a two-day camping experience in the school’s backyard, with tents and campfires. The activities allowed them to develop survival skills and build friendships.

Silay Institute looks forward to future scouting adventures as part of its commitment to shaping young leaders for tomorrow.
