CHED and UniFAST release TES stipends for the first semester, Academic Year 2020-2021 to more than 500 students of Silay Institute. The grantees received their financial aids through the school administration. In this time of pandemic, this educational assistance is an immense help for the students and their families.
Meeting with Sibato Elders
Silay Institute offered a scholarship program sponsored by SI Batch ’89 Breakfast Club to the elders of Sibato IP tribe in behalf of their children who will be completing Junior High School at Sibato Integrated School. For this cause, the elders of the IP Tribe were gathered by the SI representatives last September 15, 2021 for them to be oriented of the benefits of the scholarship program which aims to support IP students in their Senior High School up to College Education. This program is part of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) endeavors of the institution towards providing quality and accessible education to all. The Sibato IP tribe is the adopted Indigenous Peoples Community of Silay Institute located at Sitio Sibato, Brgy. Guimbala-on, Silay City.
